SPENCERVILLE, OHIO — The Moeller family announced that Flexible Foam Products' Chairman and CEO, Charles Moeller, passed away Jan. 8. He was 85 years old.

In a statement on behalf of the board, Mike Crowell, vice president of marketing, said: "The board of directors have in place a thorough succession and leadership plan. We are pleased to announce that the company will continue under the leadership of Mr. Rich Whitling, a 40-year industry veteran with Flexible Foam."

Whitling said in a company statement: "Chuck's legacy will live on. He was an industry pioneer and visionary. We salute his many professional and personal accomplishments."

Flexible Foam Products Inc. is a subsidiary of Ohio Decorative Products Inc., a privately held company headquartered in Spencerville that has been in business for more than 60 years. Flexible Foam Products, Inc. is a nationwide producer of polyurethane foam for various markets including the furniture and bedding industry.

Last year, Moeller was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Polyurethane Foam Association.
