SAS introducing bag grippers

Robotic tooling maker SAS Automation LLC will introduce two palletizing bag grippers at Automate 2013, Jan. 21-24 in Chicago's McCormick Place.

The SBG-50 servo bag gripper has gearbox/motor combination s for various robot makers, and can service multiple lines with bags of different sizes. Features include a belt and pulley system and linear rails for smooth and quiet motion.

The other model, the FBG-22 fixed bag gripper, sports a light, rugged welded aluminum main frame and manual adjustment for differnet bag widths.

SAS is based in Xenia, Ohio.
