WASHINGTON -- The Coca-Cola Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Coca-Cola Co., recently began accepting applications for its 2013 Recycling Bin Grant Program, in collaboration with Keep America Beautiful, according to a company news release.

The program aims to increase recycling rates by providing recycling bins to a selected number of non-profit organizations, government agencies, schools and religious organizations.

More than 29,000 recycling bins have been distributed through the program since 2010, the organization said. Applications will be accepted online through March 4.
