Norandex Building Materials Distribution names new CEO

HUDSON, OHIO -- Glenn Knowlton has been named president and CEO of Norandex Building Materials Distribution Inc., which is headquartered in Hudson and is a part of global building material company Cie de Saint-Gobain of France.

Knowlton most recently was vice president of sales and marketing for Saint-Gobain Abrasives, a sister company of Norandex. In that role, Knowlton was responsible for leading a sales and marketing organization of more than 400 employees serving the industrial, construction, aftermarket and do-it-yourself channels in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

"Norandex is a leader in building materials distribution and we are committed to strengthening that leadership position," Knowlton said. "I am ready to go out into our local markets with our local teams to shake some hands and ask how we can better help our customers."

Norandex Building Materials Distribution is one of the largest distributors of exterior siding, windows and roofing in the United States.
