Sintex and Wausaukee combine as global brand

WAUSAUKEE, WIS. -- Sintex Industries Ltd. is officially merging with its Wausaukee Composites Inc. to create a global brand that can seek out additional business.

The company is now named Sintex-Wausaukee Composites and is based in Wausaukee, Wis. Sintex, an international firm based in Kalol, India, has owned a controlling share of Wausaukee Composites since 2007.

The strategy and new identity announced in a Jan. 31 news release also takes in a global design center in addition to manufacturing. Wausaukee makes a variety of large composite parts for the medical energy, wind energy firms and other manufacturers.
