Business of Plastics conference to focus on major end markets

Companies & Associations Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE), Society of the Plastics Industry Inc.

WASHINGTON -- A two-day Business of Plastics conference will include presentations on the automotive, packaging, medical, and electronics markets; multidisciplinary sessions on international, economic and regulatory factors affecting these sectors; and sessions on human capital, recycling and social media.

The April 22-23 conference will be collocated the Society of Plastics Engineers Antec 2013, and is being organized by the Society of the Plastics Industry Inc.

The conference will kick off on April 22 with presentations by SPI President and CEO William Carteaux and Michael Taylor, SPI's senior director for international affairs and trade.

Both Antec and the Business of Plastics conference will take place in Cincinnati. For information, see www.antec.ws.
