Recycler PGA moving to larger location

WHITE HAVEN, PA. -- Plastics recycler PGA Inc. is expanding operations and moving into a larger existing facility in its hometown of White Haven.

The company will invest more than $600,000 on property acquisition and development, building renovations, new equipment and employee training.

The company, which currently employs 13, will hire 28 new employees over the next three years.

PGA was founded in 2006 as a two-person brokering operation. The company is now a full-service reprocessor and has been operating in White Haven for four years, according to a news release.

The company buys and sells most types of plastic including PET, high low and linear low density polyethylene, PVC and polypropylene, according to Plastics News survey North American recyclers.

PGA will receive $56,000 in job creation tax credits from Pennsylvania's Department of Community and Economic Development.
