Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery GmbH, based in Schwaig, Germany, has added two new injection presses for customer mold validations, with clamping forces of 160 and 1,000 metric tons.

The injection press maker continues the expansion of its mold-trial machines in Schwaig. Since the end of 2012, the company has added a System multi 160, a 160-tonne hydraulic multi-component machine, a System 1000 and a hydraulic press with a clamping force of 1,000 tonnes.
