GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. — Mark Miller, president of CK Technologies, has been promoted to president of the Cascade Engineering Inc. family of companies.

Miller will focus on CE's manufacturing-based business units including CK Technologies, Automotive Americas and Europe, Cascade Cart Solutions, CapturIt, Commercial Products and Noble Polymers. He will continue to report directly to company founder, Chairman and CEO Fred Keller.

According to Cascade, Miller's implementation of a sustainability-focused strategy, as well as the company's adoption of lean processes, enabled CKT to maintain profitability during the global recession.

"Mark, as leader of CKT, led the company through significant growth leading to our recent expansion into Texas. He is respected by his peers and exemplifies all the traits we look for in a leader," Keller said in a news release.

A Detroit native, Miller has a bachelor's degree in finance from Wayne State University and has taken additional graduate courses at MIT and Wayne State. He is a 25-year veteran of the transportation industry with particular experience in injection molding, painting and electroplating technologies.
