Remform screws designed for joining plastic components

March 13, 2013

Remform screws from Arnold Umformtechnik GmbH & Co. are designed for direct-assembly of plastics.

The Remform screws do not require nuts or inserts to hold together the plastic components. They form their own threads and the necessary core hole.

An asymmetrical thread geometry steers the forces that result during threading in the designed direction.

The main application is the automotive industry, according to the company in Forchtenberg-Ernsbach, Germany.
