SCHAUMBURG, ILL. — The American Mold Builders Association will hold its annual national convention April 24-26 in Schaumburg.

The event will include tours of three Chicago-area mold builders: A-1 Tool Corp. in Melrose Park, Ill.; Chicago Mold Engineering Co. Inc. in St. Charles, Ill.; and Industrial Molds Inc. in Rockford, Ill.

The convention also includes a conference program, a supplier trade fair, and a banquet where Rolling Meadows, Ill.-based AMBA will award its Mold Builder and Chapter of the Year recipients.

"This year's convention will give attendees more opportunities to exchange best practices and business strategies with other industry executives than at any other convention in the past," AMBA Executive Director Troy Nix said in a news release.
