WOODSTOCK, ILL. — Dordan Manufacturing Co. Inc., a Woodstock-based packaging thermofomer, has achieved two milestones: its 50th anniversary, and ISO 9001:2008 certification.

The ISO certification emphasizes continual process improvement and tracking customer satisfaction. Dordan quality manager Lye-Ying Seah said the process helped to open communication throughout the entire company.

“I used to always say work hard today and tomorrow will take care of itself; now with ISO certification, we are already working hard for you tomorrow.” President Daniel Slavin said in a news release.

Dordan is a third-generation family-owned company.
