POINT COMFORT, TEXAS — Fourteen workers were injured May 2 in a fire at an ethylene purification unit operated by Formosa Plastics Corp. USA in Point Comfort. Two workers are in critical condition. Production has stopped at the ethylene unit and at a nearby unit that makes high density polyethylene.
