TROY, MICH. — Eric "Rick" Seres, the owner of hot runner manufacturer Incoe Corp., has died, the company said in a May 3 news release. He was 69.

The company did not disclose the cause of death.

Before his death on April 22, Seres appointed his son Eric Seres Jr. as his successor as CEO of Troy, Mich.-based Incoe.

During Seres' tenure heading the company, he saw its growth in new technology for hot runner systems and oversaw its expansion into international markets. Incoe is currently in 35 countries, with production in North America, Europe, Asia and South America.

Seres is also survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharon, three children and eight grandchildren.

Eric Seres Jr. has been involved with Incoe for several years and aided in its growth, the company said. He represents the third generation of family ownership and management at the firm.

Robert Hoff continues as president with the current management team.
