Single Temperiertechnik GmbH, which makes temperature control systems and cooling systems in Hochdorf, Germany, has earned the EcoPlus label for several products.

EcoPlus recognizes high efficiency and low energy consumption.

Single’s temperature control systems of the brands N1, NS and S are marked by the EcoPlus label because of features such as the Grundfos centrifugal pumps, which replace standard peripheral impeller pumps, increasing the energy efficiency by a factor of three, according to the company said.

The ATT (alternating temperature technology) recovers the maximum content of the liquid media. That approach is not possible with cartridge heaters, ceramic elements or induction heating used in combination with water cooling.

Also marked with EcoPlus: the EcoTemp passive alternating temperature control, which interrupts mold cooling during the injection phase, so the cavity wall heats up.

And all Single temperature control and cooling systems with pump speed control have been awarded the EcoPlus label.
