Valeron Strength Films has developed components for high pressure thermoplastic pipe joints used for fracturing subsurface oil and gas substrates.

Valeron, at ITW company, provides the protective outer wrap supporting the glass-fiber reinforced pipe in diameters up 10.5 inches and with pressure ratings of 250 pounds per square inch.

Valeron recently demonstrated the pipe joint technology developed by Composite Fluid Transfer LLC of Kilgore, Texas, at Valeron’s Houston, Texas, headquarters.

The joint technology is lightweight and not labor intensive.
