Smart Machineries develops double-station blow molding machines

Mumbai, India-based Smart Machineries and Moulds Pvt. Ltd. has developed the DS Series of double-station blow molding machines.

The DS Series has five main sizes, based on the capacity of the bottles, up to 5 liters. Smart Machineries is coming out with a design ready for 10-liter bottles.

The large platen area accommodates bigger-sized molds, with center distances of 80, 90, 110 and 150 millimeters with two, three or four-parison die-heads.

The press runs 15 dry cycles a minute.

The larger sizes have proportional hydraulics to reduce energy consumption.
