Brazilian construction products extruder Plastilit Produtos Plásticos do Paraná Ltda is opening a 968,750-square foot plant in Fazenda Rio Grande, and will transfer existing extrusion lines and new line from Battenfeld-Cincinnati.
Plastilit Group consists of two companies. Plastilit makes PVC pie and fittings. Polifort produces PVC ceiling profiles and folding doors.
Plastilit already owns three single-screw extruders and one twin-stand line and a pelletizer from the Vienna, Austria-based Battenfeld-Cincinnati. The company bought another single-strand extrusion line for the new factory.

They demonstrated the newest-generation polyolefin pipe extrusion line, which consumes 30 percent less energy than the prvious model. The coextrusion line produced a two-layer pressure pipe.
