Carlisle Transportation to host MAPP safety summit

Carlisle Transportation Products, a maker of belts, specialty tires and wheels, will host a July 25-26 Environmental, Health, & Safety Summit, organized by the Manufacturers Association for Plastics Processors.

Carlisle recently implemented a new approach to safety called Behavior Based Safety, which focuses on helping workers be more aware in their work environment. According to the company, BBS helps employees make good choices and create good habits in the areas that have resulted in recordables in the past, based on data.
