MBFZ Toolcraft GmbH, which makes molds in Georgensgmünd, Germany, installed a new machining center earlier this year.

The machining facility has automated management of all tools and eoectgrodes in a pallet system.

The center is equipped with the following equipment: an Exeron HSC 600 five-axis milling machine, an Exeron HSC 300 three-axis milling machine, an Exeron EDM 313 electric discharge machine, two Exeron EDM 312s with Erowa ERM robots, and an Exeron EDM 310.

Two Zeiss Contura three-dimensional coordinate measuring machines obtain measured data directly from the design department. Pellet cleaning is carried out by an Erowa robot system.
