UNIONTOWN, OHIO — Paladin Sales LLC is representing two new rotational molding-related companies: High-intensity mixers from OptiMax Plastic LLC and Enhance surface enhancer products from PSI Brand.

Terry Gillian, a rotomolding consultant who runs Paladin Sales in Uniontown, said his firm's sales will nearly double this year, thanks to the new additions. He declined to release sales numbers.

"Rotomolders appear to be doing very well this year and Paladin Sales is sharing in this environment," Gillian said.

OptiMax, of Kent, Ohio, supplies high-intensity mixers that evenly disperse agglomerated powders and materials, to create a more-uniform blend. Gillian said high-intensity mixers can blend a batch of material in about six minutes, compared with up to an hour for low-shear, low-intensity mixers.

PSI Brand, in Napier, New Zealand, has developed the Enhance water-based version of its surface enhancer. The product removes pitting, voids and bubbles, and fills hard-to-cover areas in rotomolded products.

Paladin Sales is offering Enhance in spray cans or in bulk. The new, water-based Enhance offers simple cleanup and no odor, he said.

Gillian has 30 years of experience in rotomolding. He is a member of the Rotational Molding Hall of Fame.
