Remcon introduces rotomolded IBC

Rotational molder Remcon Plastics Inc. unveiled its intermediate bulk container (IBC) at the ChemEdge 2013 Expo in Dallas, Aug. 20-23.

Remcon, of Reading, Pa., is a custom and proprietary molder.

Brian Martin, vice president of sales and marketing, said the IBC totes have been independently certified.

“Our collaborative effort to bring a better choice for IMB buyers resulted in the best valve protection in the industry, a wider range of chemical resistance from superior Viton seals wich are standard and proprietary design features to enhance overall IMB tote performance,” Martin said.

The Remcon IBC is available in 220-, 275- and 330-gallon capacities. A sic-inch vent cap is standard.

Remcon’s proprietary product lines include reusable material handling containers for food, cosmetics, meat and poultry, and pharmaceutical processors. The new IBC brings a new market: chemical manufacturers and distributors.

Remcon also molds safety barricades, tanks, lockers and recreational products.
