IMS Co. of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, has released its IMS Hydra air-cooled circulator, which does not require an external water source.

That makes the unit mobile and cost-effective for companies with a limited or expensive water supply, IMS said. The Hydra uses a copper and aluminum finned-tube heat exchanger with a large fan to cool circulated water, and a glycol mixture. IMS said the glycol virtually eliminates corrosion of tools and molds.
