Disposable and respiratory medical device make Intersurgical Ltd. is investing more than 85 million Chinese yuan ($14 million) in its first wholly-owned factory in China, local government officials announced.
Berkshire, England-based Intersurgical will manufacture airway management, anesthesia, critical care and oxygen and aerosol therapy devices in the facility in Changzhou, Jiangsu province, according to a Sept. 10 news release from the Changzhou National Hi-Tech District.
Construction is set to begin in November in a CND industrial park specializing in bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing. Intersurgical manufactures non-PVC anesthesia and respiratory products, among other products, CND said.
