In an attempt to generate new leads, Soft-Lite Windows is offering commercial-grade cookware to customers who provide referrals that result in sales.

The stainless steel pots, which are part of the platinum cookware line of Ohio-based Lake Industries, have energy-efficient features, such as TempAlert Knobs, making them a good fit with Soft-Lite’s vinyl replacement windows, according to Tyson Schwartz, Soft-Lite vice president of sales and marketing.

Schwartz was hired in February to direct the company’s sales expansion and growth and provide dealers stronger marketing support. Partnering with kitchenware supplier Lake Industries is part of that effort. Soft-Lite dealers can use the cookware as a gift to customers whose referrals generate sales or in other creative ways.

The cookware has unique thermal properties, such as a vapor seal, special base that can be used to bake on top of the stove, and it is stackable so that several units can be cooked on one burner.

"It is an excellent tool for conserving energy and enhancing a home's thermal efficiency, so it fits hand-in-hand with the Energy Star-labeled windows that we manufacture,” Schwartz said in a statement.
