DME officials said the Intelligent Temperature Control System offers a small footprint, and plug-and-play compatibility.

A 5.7-inch color touch-screen has a convenient fold-away mechanism, for ease of use.

DME, a unit of Milacron LLC, demonstrated the DME controller at K 2013.

"This new global line of hot runner control solutions will help our customers optimize their machines, enabling them to meet more-exacting product demands," said Craig Kovacic, DME hot runner manager.

A self-diagnostic testing tool lets users confirm that every zone is functioning properly.

DME is based in Madison Heights, Mich.
