Peco Inc. of Fairfield, N.J., has introduced its new bag sealer and perforator, model QBX2.

The Swedish parent company, FAS Converting Machinery AB, also makes coreless winders. The new bag machine can achieve line speeds of 600 feet per minute because of its integrated design, which includes longer dwell times, improved tension control and seal cooling.

Like other models of the FAS bag machines, the QBX2 features a unique sealing system that applies heat and pressure to both sides of the web, instead of just from the top.
