Eurocell cuts costs with improved lighting

Eurocell plc, the Nottingham, England-based extruder, has significantly cut its carbon dioxide emissions and saved more than $12,000 a year, just by changing its lights.

Eurocell hired Premium Lighting Solutions, a lighting manufacturer, to assess how the existing light in its 80,000-square-foot extrusion and tool-making facility could be improved. The existing lights were giving out a poor quality of light and its traditional lamps failed regularly, leading to high maintenance costs.
