Italy-based Macchi set to open office in China

Italy-based Macchi SpA, which produces blown film extrusion equipment, has reported that it will be opening a new office in Shanghai.

During the last year Macchi says that it has concentrated its efforts on the Chinese market and its new Shanghai office will employ a Chinese technologist, with over twenty years of experience in blown film extrusion, who will provide both sales and technical advice to customers.

Shanghai Cheerful Blossom Trading, the long-time Macchi agent in China, will play a big part in the company's strategy, with Macchi saying that it will be utilizing its deep knowledge of the Chinese market to help further meet customer needs.

Macchi which was established in 1965 has structured itself internationally with a widespread network of agents and offices in the United States and Russia.
