The big winner in our Processor of the Year contest this year is Tech Molded Plastics Inc. We had two other excellent finalists for the award — both custom injection molders. Here are the video reports we prepared on the companies.

AMA Plastics Inc. of Riverside, Calif., was one of the finalists. Plastics News senior reporter Bill Bregar shot this video — and all three were produced by assistant managing editor and video editor Jeremy Carroll.

I didn't get a chance to accompany Bill on his visit to AMA, but after seeing the video, I have to say I'm jealous. It's an impressive operation.

Our third finalist was Protoplast Inc. of Cobourg, Ontario. Protoplast not only came close to winning our big award, they also were honored tonight with our PN Excellence Award for Employee Relations.

When you watch the video, you'll get a taste of the special things what we saw from this company.

Congratulations to all three companies.
