Curbside Value Partnership, which helps develop curbside recycling programs, has a new leader.

Steve Thompson, who led the organization for more than a decade, is retiring and being succeeded by Keefe Harrison as executive director.

Harrison comes to CVP after most recently working as a senior consultant for Resource Recycling Systems. She also has worked with the Association of Postconsumer Plastic Recyclers, the Southeast Recycling Development Council and the Recycling Division of the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Thompson served as executive director since CVP was created in 2003.
