Inhance Technologies introduced the Reactive Gas Technology for automotive plastics, which the company claims imparts permanent surface modification of plastics for paints, coatings, adhesives, improved lubricity and abrasion-resistance.

Inhance Technologies is based in Highland, Mich. The company has established an Automotive Business Unit.

Inhance focuses on treating plastics and composites for higher performance through its Reactive Gas Technology and Fluoro-Seal Process.

The surface modification can be very rapid, often taking only a few seconds, according to the company.
