Polyurea solutions developer and manufacturer VersaFlex Inc. is expanding its regional sales and service operations across the U.S. and Canada.

Increased demand in niche markets like water and wastewater, oil and gas, military, infrastructure, marine coatings and anti-microbial applications prompted the firm to develop a regional sales team, according to a press release.

The team — comprised so far of sales manager Todd Gomez and sales representative Rudi Rennert — will focus on educating construction engineers, architects and plural component spray applicators about polyurea coatings and linings innovation.

VersaFlex’s director of marketing Doug Commette said personnel expansion will help the company both educate the general market and add service specifically for the coatings business.
