Plastics concentrates manufacturer AmTopp, a division of Livingston, N.J.-headquartered Inteplast Group, has purchased a new Farrel CP 1000 continuous mixer.

The new machine, which is a duplicate of one AmTopp already operates, will boost the division’s concentrates capacity to 68 million pounds per year, the company announced May 8.

“We are excited about the installation and expect the new capacity for concentrates to be available in the first quarter of 2015,” division president Homer Hsieh said in a statement.

AmTopp operates a 120,000-square-foot concentrates plant in Lolita, Texas. In addition to plastic compounds and concentrates, the division also manufactures bi-axially oriented polypropylene films and stretch wrap films.
