EMS Chemie wins Norma Group's first global recognition award

Norma Group a Maintal, Germany-based maker of engineering joining technology, bestowed its first-ever Global Recognition Award for 2014 to EMS Chemie Holding AG, the supplier of polymers and specialty chemicals.

Norma plans to offer the award every year.

John Stephenson, Norma’s chief operating officer, presented the award to EMS CEO Maria Martullo, on July 2 in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany.

Since the early 1990s, Norma Group has obtained thermoplastics, such as nylon 6 and 12, from EMS, for use in the production of Norma’s fluid systems and joining elements around the world.
