Plastics News’ Automotive Newsmaker of the Year Award

In 2017, Plastics News will select its first Automotive Newsmaker of the Year award. This award combines insights from the editorial staff and industry suggestions, this special individual will be chosen based on the significant role played in the development of plastics in automotive applications.
Find out who will win this noteworthy honor and hear the Automotive Newsmaker of the Year speak at Plastics in Automotive 2017. The newsmaker will speak during the event on Jan. 10, 2017, at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.

Nominations will be accepted for Plastics News’ Automotive Newsmaker of the Year award. The Plastics News editorial team will sift through nominations along with their own suggestions based on industry coverage.

The criteria for this award are simple: The nominee must be an individual who contributed heavily to automotive plastics in the 2016 calendar year. Nominees can work for OEM, automotive suppliers, design or engineering firms, mold makers, materials or machinery companies or automotive consultants. Whoever comes to mind as an industry influencer is fair game.
When Will it Be Announced:
Plastics News will announce the award winner in early November, giving attendees time to make their reservations to come hear the Automotive Newsmaker of the Year speak at Plastics in Automotive 2017.
