During its 15-year life, the National Plastics Center has become the hub of the industry’s past and future, from its 2,000 artifacts and library to its popular PlastiVan, which brings the wonders of plastics to schools around the country. But it took roughly the same number of years before that to plan, raise money and generate plastics industry support to establish the center.
