Over 100 professionals from the plastics industry gathered in Chicago Nov. 14-15 for the Plastics News China Forum 2006. Attendees gained valuable
information and insight from 13 speakers with firsthand China knowledge, and made connections at various networking opportunities. In the center photo,

Forum topics included China's ever-changing legal and regulatory conditions, labor and management challenges (including local staff recruitment and
retention), resin and market prospects, due diligence issues, and intellectual property rights. In the left photo Frank Gallo of Calypso Consulting
discusses how to manage, motivate and develop employees in China. In the center photo, Ticona's Frank Zhao shares the impact of
Chinese government policies on resin markets there. And in the photo on the right, Shafique Janmohamed of United Plastics Group Inc. gives tips about
managing a global supply chain.
