Senior-level plastics officials gathered at the spectacular Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, Fla., March 5-8, for Plastics News' Executive Forum 2006. Attendees gained valuable market and management insight from 27 expert speakers and panelists, and made personal connections at the many networking opportunities the Forum provides.

The Forum kicked off Sunday evening with a "Business Glows in Georgia" welcome reception sponsored by Georgia Allies (left photo). In the center photo, the fun continued Monday night at the "Progressives 500" networking reception, where sponsor Progressive Components raffled off NASCAR jackets. Pictured, L-R, are Andy Routsis, Mark Hanaway, Ed Bernard and Glenn Starkey of Progressive Components, who presented the jackets and performed a few songs with the band! Tuesday evening's Processor of the Year award reception, sponsored by Ernst & Young Corporate Finance, honored finalists i2Tech, U.S. Farathane and Fibergrate Composite Structures. U.S. Farathane took home top honors. The left picture shows PN's Bob Grace (left) and Ernst & Young's Colin McLelland (right) awarding Farathane CEO Andy Greenlee the winner's trophy. Wednesday morning's "Breakfast with the Stars" gave attendees the opportunity for Q&A with the presidents from the Processor of the Year finalists. In the photo on the left, i2Tech's Bob Janeczko responds to a question as Farathane's Andy Greenlee (left) and Fibergrate's Marshall Liverman and Wendell Hollingsworth look on. In the center photo, Liverman takes his turn on the panel discussion. The breakfast panel was followed by bonus sessions jointly presented by Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP and Plante & Moran/P&M Corporate Finance. The Forum offered attendees the option to participate in offsite networking activities on Sunday afternoon, including golf, fishing, clay shooting, and canoeing. In the center photo (L-R), PN reporter Bill Bregar, General Norman Schwarzkopf, Aucilla's Doug Beach and PN sales rep Gary Judy pose at the clay shooting range. The group ran into Schwarzkopf while clay shooting and asked him to pose for the photo op.
