Wilderness Canoe Experience
Discover nature's magic while paddling through a spectacular preserve that still resembles Old Florida. The Hillsborough waterway is the most important resource in Tampa Bay, so its watershed has been protected. The 16,000-acre reserve is home to some of the best wildlife observation in the state with alligators, turtles, and numerous bird species ranging from the Great Blue Heron to the rare and endangered Rosetta Spoonbill. Our guides will educate you on canoe paddling techniques and the wildlife you will encounter. This 4.5 mile quiet-water trip is cool – 70% shade even on a hot day. Recommended attire includes soft-soled shoes, swimwear or shorts and t-shirts. Refreshments and transportation included.

Price: $80 per person

Golf
Palmer Course – par 71 shot-gun tournament – sponsored by CBW Automation.
Don't be misled by the 6,641 yardage of this par 71 Arnold Palmer creation. It is a stout test. While many of the holes provide generous driving areas, the firm green fairways are contoured to resemble a rolling New England course. Level ground is rare. Facing the green from the slanting fairways, the small elevated emerald islands are framed by white-faced bunkers, azure ponds and gently swaying palm trees. Hilly lies and the sweeping Florida breezes make it difficult to attain the accuracy needed to find these targets. The Tif-eagle greens are firm, fast and undulating, allowing only a crisply struck shot to hold their surface. Surrounding the greens, the thick, gnarly Bermuda rough tangles around the club and complicates the soft touch needed to play short pitch shots. Miss the green and you face a difficult par. Several holes require length; all reward finesse.
Greens fees, carts, lunch, and beverage cart included.
Limit – 48 players
Time: Box Lunch – 11:30 a.m.; Tee Time – 12:30 p.m.
Price: $150 per person (club rental – additional $50.00)
