Below, video essays tell each finalist's story and this slide show provides a glimpse of the awards reception. Meanwhile, this Jan. 7 story tells more about Donnelly and PCI, as well.

Donnelly Custom Manufacturing Co. has a catchy slogan that says it all: "How Short Run is Done." The company in Alexandria, Minn., has become an expert on short-run, close-tolerance jobs, while forming close relationships with customers.; Innovative Injection Technologies Inc. owners Robert Janeczko and his son, Josh, have found the third time is a charm as the molder in West Des Moines, Iowa, has been named Processor of the Year for 2007.; Germantown, Wis.-based Plastic Components Inc. is making a name for itself as a small molder that has figured out how to survive, and prosper, in a harsh global marketplace. PCI has its own motto: “Low cost at home” -- as in Wisconsin, not China.; Finalists for the Processor of the Year award
