Appliance maker acquires Mac Molding
SUNSET HILLS, MO. (Sept. 5, 7:20 p.m. EDT) -- Appliance maker Tacony Corp. is bringing its molding needs in-house, and has acquired Mac Molding Co. to help in the transition. Mac will continue to run its plant in Sunset Hills, where it will supply Tacony as well as outside customers in electronics and consumer products.

Versatex gets new facility as sales rise
ALIQUIPPA, PA. (Sept. 5, 7:10 p.m. EDT) -- Cellular PVC trim extruder Versatex Trimboards, founded in 2003, is growing up. The company announced today it has moved into a new 60,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Aliquippa.

Bemis Manufacturing shifts work to HQ plant
SHEBOYGAN FALLS, WIS. (Sept. 5, 5:00 p.m. EDT) -- Bemis Manufacturing Co. will close its Kelch Division plant in Menomonee Falls, Wis., near Milwaukee, and move the work north to its headquarters complex in Sheboygan Falls.
