Dow loses appeal in urethane chemical price-fixing case

KANSAS CITY, KAN. — Dow Chemical Co. said it will appeal the ruling by a Kansas City federal judge denying Dow's motion to decertify a price-fixing class action and ordering the company to pay $1.2 billion in damages to the plaintiffs.

Dow Chemical found guilty of urethane foam price-fixing

KANSAS CITY, KAN. -- Dow Chemical Co. has been ordered to pay $400 million after being found guilty of fixing the price of chemicals used to make urethane foams, according to Reuters.
