Sale of JCI's headliners and visors unit may signal more turmoil for interiors

A deal to sell Johnson Controls Inc.'s headliners and sun visors unit will allow the company to focus more tightly on its strengths: batteries and seats, but offers worrisome hints that the auto industry's interiors sector -- which includes headliners, instrument panels, door panels and the like -- remains a financial black hole.
