Private equity firm H.I.G. Capital LLC of Miami has entered into a definitive agreement to sell plastics processor Vaupell Holdings Inc. to Sumitomo Bakelite Co. Ltd. of Tokyo. The purchase will boost Sumitomo Bakelite's stake in aerospace and medical molding.
