AptarGroup closing two plants in Europe, shifts spending to developing countries

CRYSTAL LAKE, ILL. -- Dispensing systems manufacturer AptarGroup Inc. said it plans to curtail operations in Europe and pick up capital spending in developing countries.

Spanish investment firm buys closure molder Betapack

IRÚN, SPAIN -- Spanish closure molder Grupo Betapack, which owns a subsidiary in Brazil, has been acquired by Madrid-based private equity firm Mercapital.
