After introducing the nylon polymer business of INVISTA, the first part of this webinar will introduce INVISTA’s Mobius™ CT Series of PA 66/6T copolymer resins and demonstrate how these resins can enable compounding partners to achieve a combination of UL 94 V-0, CTI ≥ 600 V and GWIT > 775°C with lower flame-retardant loadings. The second part of the webinar will demonstrate how further reductions in flame-retardant loadings can be achieved, alongside mechanical and heat ageing benefits, when INVISTA’s PA 66/6T resins are combined with the commercially available amorphous semi-aromatic polyamide, PA 6I/6T.
