Automotive Moulding Co. opened an $8.6 million paint line this month at its plant in LaGrange, Ga., where the company will use the equipment to paint large exterior parts as long as 8 feet. Automotive Moulding, based in Warren, Mich., makes exterior components such as body side moldings, rocker panels, claddings, running boards and fairings. The 12,000-square-foot, fully automated paint line is equipped with recirculating air booths and may be used with several different paint systems, the company said.
