Metrolina Plastics, the container and closure molding subsidiary of C.F. Sauer Co., purchased a Techne Graham 6000 Twin machine off the show floor of NPE, to support its manufacture of retail, food-service and industrial products containers. The machine offers a multiparison, high-cavititation configuration and, according to Metrolina, easy mold access for quick changeovers and set-ups. The company is running three types of gallon containers, including a wide-mouth mayonnaise/mustard jar. Sauer is headquartered in Richmond, Va. Techne Graham is a division of Graham Engineering Corp., based in York, Pa.
