Ebert Composites Corp. of San Diego designed a way to machine pultruded cross beams, creating a snap-together tower that comes in a kit. The firm received funding through the federal Advance Technology Program to develop, continuously pultrude and machine the parts in a single process, said Ebert President Walt Warner.
